How your customers participate

How your customers sign up, earn and redeem in Xtarly — varying based on the channel your plan offers.

Your customers participate in your loyalty program through one of three channels, depending on your plan. This section describes each experience and when it applies.

The three customer channels

Customers on plans with a mobile app can also use the wallet card — they are complementary channels, not exclusive. The customer chooses which one they prefer.

Channel 1 — Wallet Card (Apple/Google Wallet)

Applies to every paid plan. It's the only channel on the Wallet plan and optional on the rest.

How the customer enrolls

The customer scans your Enrollment QR or opens your public link.
Lands on your Enrollment Page and fills out the form.
Taps Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet (based on their phone).
The pass saves to their wallet, ready to show at checkout.

How they identify themselves at checkout

  1. Open Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
  2. Tap your business card — shows a QR code.
  3. The cashier scans it with Xtarly Cashier.

The card updates automatically with the new balance after each transaction. For design details, see Wallet Card Design.

Channel 2 — Xtarly Rewards marketplace app (Shared plan)

Customers download the Xtarly Rewards marketplace app, a multi-brand app where many businesses coexist. Your program lives inside the app alongside other brands.

How the customer enrolls

The customer downloads Xtarly Rewards from App Store / Google Play.
Creates their account or signs in (email + password, Google or Apple).
Scans your Enrollment QR or searches for your business in the app.
Joins your program with one tap.

How they identify themselves at checkout

They open the app, tap your business, show the personal QR. The cashier scans it with Xtarly Cashier.

Channel 3 — Dedicated app (Branded, Premium, Lifetime plans)

Customers download your own app with your brand. The Xtarly brand is nowhere to be seen.

How the customer enrolls

The customer downloads your app from App Store / Google Play (you share the link, or it appears after scanning your Enrollment QR).
Creates their account or signs in.
Is automatically enrolled in your program (it's the only brand living in that app).

How they identify themselves at checkout

Open your app, tap the personal QR on screen. The cashier scans it with Xtarly Cashier.

These pages apply only to plans that include a mobile app — Shared, Branded, Premium or Lifetime. If you're on the Wallet plan, the customer experience lives in Apple/Google Wallet — see Wallet Card Design.
