Delivery QR

How to generate a unique QR per Rappi, DiDi or Uber Eats order so the diner credits themselves, and how to read the day's code list.

When you sell through Rappi, DiDi Food or Uber Eats, the sale never passes through your register and the diner cannot show their QR. The Delivery QR per order closes that gap: your cashier generates a unique code for the order, you send it with the bag, and the diner scans it with their phone to credit themselves. If they are new, they join your program in the same step.

What you need

  • A plan with a customer app: Shared, Branded or Premium. On the Wallet plan the section does not appear.
  • Turn on the switch in Program › Delivery QR per order (it starts off). If you sell through platforms and have not turned it on yet, your dashboard home shows the card “Do you sell on Rappi, DiDi or Uber Eats?” with a shortcut.

How a code works

RuleWhat it means
One per orderThe cashier generates it on the spot, from the register. There are no pre-printed batches.
What it is worth1 stamp on stamp programs. On points and tiers, whatever the order amount the cashier typed earns; the tier multiplier is applied at redemption.
Expires in 3 daysAfter that it can no longer be credited. The code page says when it expires.
OnceEach code is credited to a single card.
One order per dayA diner can credit only one code from your business per day. If they already used today's, the code is not spent: it works tomorrow, within its 3 days.
Confirm before creditingThe diner sees your business and what they earn, and is told if confirming will enroll them. Viewing the code does not enroll them.

Generating the code from the register

In the Web Cashier Panel, with the switch on, the Delivery QR button appears:

  1. Click Delivery QR.
  2. Type the Order amount (on stamp programs that do not require an amount, this field does not appear) and, optionally, the Ticket folio.
  3. Click Generate code. You will see the QR, the code as text, its estimated value and the expiry date.
  4. Download the PNG or copy the link and stick it on the bag or send it in the order note.

If a sticker is lost or smudged, the cashier cannot recover that code: generate a new one. The old one expires on its own after 3 days.

What the diner sees

The QR opens a xtarly.com page with your business name and what they earn. From there they open the Xtarly Rewards app with the code loaded or, if they do not have it, download it and type the code. Before crediting, the app shows your business and what they receive; if they are not your customer yet, it tells them that confirming will enroll them.

If the code has expired or was already used, the page says so clearly and does not blame the diner.

The day's code list

In Delivery codes (sidebar) you see the codes your register issued per day: time, amount, the cashier who generated it and status (Pending, Redeemed with the customer's name, or Expired), plus the summary of issued, redeemed, pending and expired.

Only owners and admins see this list, never the cashier. A cashier who could see the codes nobody redeemed could credit them to themselves.

Turning the delivery QR off

From Program › Delivery QR per order you can turn it off at any time. New codes stop being issued, but the ones already out can still be redeemed until they expire.

A code that expires without being redeemed counts as a sale by a non-enrolled customer in your reports, if anonymous sales tracking is on. If your connected point of sale already sends platform orders, Xtarly does not record them twice.
