Ratings
Ask for stars right after enrollment, send happy customers to Google, and get everyone else's feedback privately.
Ratings turns the moment a customer has just signed up —while they're in your business and in a good mood— into Google reviews, without risking a bad experience ending up published.
How it works
This doesn't hide anything: an unhappy customer can always write on Google on their own. What it does is point your review effort at the people who already told you they had a good time, and hand you the rest as actionable feedback.
Turning it on
When you connect your listing, the review link fills in automatically and the star widget starts showing to your customers. If you have more than one location, you can connect a different listing per branch (the branch listing takes priority over the business-level one).
Prefer to do it by hand? On the same tab you can paste your review link directly. To find it: open your Google Business Profile and use the "Ask for reviews" button — that's where the short URL you need comes from.
We accept https links from g.page, google.com or maps.app.goo.gl. For example:
https://g.page/r/…/reviewWith no link configured the star widget is not shown to your customers. If you clear the link, it stops appearing immediately.
The Ratings screen
In the sidebar, Ratings brings everything together. At the top, three always-visible KPIs: average rating, reviews received and negative reviews (3★ or fewer).
You can filter by star count, by branch (if you have more than one) and by date range. Filters live in the URL: copy the link and share it with your team with the filters already applied.
My ratings
The list of stars and comments customers left when signing up, with the customer's name (linked to their profile), their branch and the date. If a customer deleted their account, their rating is kept but shows as Deleted customer: you keep the data without keeping who said it.
Google reviews
The Google reviews tab brings your public listing into the dashboard: overall rating, total review count and up to 5 highlighted reviews with author, stars and text (Google shares at most 5 per listing). See all on Google opens your full listing, and the Refresh button pulls the latest copy. If you filter by branch, you see that branch's listing.
That closes the loop without leaving Xtarly: enrollment stars tell you how today went, and Google reviews show you what the world sees about your business.
Making the most of it
- Check it weekly. Three 2-star comments about the same thing are worth more than any survey.
- Put the QR where the customer has already been well served — the rating is asked right after enrollment, so the enrollment context is the review context.
- Don't ask for the review twice. The happy customer already got the Google button at the exact right moment; chasing them later over WhatsApp usually backfires.
