Referrals
Activate your referral code, share it with other businesses and track which ones signed up with it.
Referrals is the program you use to recommend Xtarly to other businesses and see which ones signed up thanks to you. It lives under Referrals, in the system section of the sidebar.
The program is in a pilot phase and, as published today, grants no right to payment, commission, discount or any benefit. If a benefit is offered in the future, it will be communicated in writing and will apply going forward.
The code is yours, not your business's
The referral code belongs to your user account, not to an organization. That's why the screen lives at a fixed route (/app/referrals) and stays the same even when you switch organizations with the selector.
Activate your code
On activation we store, as a record, the version of the rules you accepted, the date, your IP address and your browser. The screen tells you this before you activate.
Share your code
Once active you'll see:
- Your 8-character code.
- Your share link — shown in full and selectable, alongside the Copy link button (in case automatic copying fails on your phone).
Share it with businesses you already know or that ask you for it. Don't share it in mass sends and don't buy ads on the Xtarly brand: that's one of the program rules.
How a referred business gets linked
There are two paths, and both end the same way:
- By link — the business arrives through your link with
?ref=YOURCODE. The code is stored in their browser for 90 days and stamped when they create their account. - Typed manually — if you passed the code along over WhatsApp or in person, below the signup form there's a discreet "Have a referral code?" link that opens an optional field for it.
Attribution happens once, at account creation: businesses that were already registered are never reassigned, and a code that arrived first isn't overwritten by a later one. The exception is a manually typed code, which does win over an older link, because it's an explicit statement from the business itself.
When signing up, the business sees a notice saying they're arriving with your code and that you'll be able to see their business name, signup date and account status. Nothing else is asked of them.
What you see about each referral
The Referred businesses table shows three columns and nothing more:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Business | The referred business's name. |
| Signup date | When they created their account. |
| Status | Registered, In trial, Active or Cancelled. |
You don't see their plan, what they pay or their billing: another business's commercial data is not exposed.
Program limits
The "How does it work?" card at the bottom of the screen sums up what the rules publish:
- The program is a pilot and grants no payments, commissions or benefits.
- Don't use your code to register your own businesses, family businesses or businesses you manage: those signups are not attributed.
- When recommending Xtarly use only the information published on xtarly.com: no discounts, special prices or promises of results that aren't published.
- You present yourself as an independent user or consultant, never as a representative of Xtarly.
- No mass sends, and no using Xtarly's WhatsApp, templates or contact lists.
If your code shows as suspended, the screen says so and asks you to write to atencion@xtarly.com.
The full rules and their current version live at /legal/referral-program. Versions are never renumbered or deleted: they're only added.
