Menu

The Menu section lets you create a digital catalog of your products, organized by category. This catalog is visible to customers in the Xtarly Rewards app and can be used alongside your loyalty program.

Categories

Before adding products, create at least one category (e.g., "Drinks", "Food", "Desserts"). Each category has a name and an optional image.

Products

Within each category, you can add products with:

Option groups

Option groups let customers customize a product. Each group has a name and a list of options, each with its own name and optional price modifier.

Example:

• Group: Size
  • Small (+$0)
  • Medium (+$15)
  • Large (+$25)

Your products connect to rewards and coupons

The catalog isn't only for the app: it is where the products you can link to a reward or a coupon come from.

• In Rewards, the Free product and Size upgrade benefit types let you pick which products the prize applies to (see Rewards).
• In Coupons, the same goes for Free Item and Size Upgrade (see Coupons).

Rules worth knowing:

• Only active products in active categories are listed. If a product is missing from the picker, check that both it and its category are active.
• You can pick several products per reward or coupon. If you pick none, there is no restriction: the cashier picks the line at the POS.
• If you delete or deactivate a linked product, the reward or coupon does not break: it simply stops resolving that product, and the dashboard shows it as Linked product (no longer in the active menu).
• If you don't have active products yet and pick a reward template that needs them, Xtarly offers Load my menu or Continue as a custom reward.
